Byron Bay Bus Interchange

STONEKAST worked closely with Designinc to conceive and execute a distinctive paving design tailored specifically for this exceptional project. Incorporating three interlocking colors in contrasting colours, the paving pattern serves as a striking focal point, enhancing the overall aesthetic appeal and uniqueness of the space.

The Byron Bay bus interchange promotes a sense of locality by intricately weaving together elements of rail heritage, landscape features, and indigenous Arakwal artworks. Transcending its utilitarian purpose, the interchange has evolved into a cherished landmark, offering not only essential functional amenities but also serving as a gateway to seamless, accessible, and secure multimodal transportation solutions.
